  • Browser type/Browser version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL (the previously visited page)
  • Host name of the accessing processor (IP address)
  • Time of the server request

When using this information, we do not draw any conclusions about individual persons. These data are not combined with other data sources.  This information is technically necessary in order to deliver the contents of our internet site correctly, to optimise the content and technology of our internet site and to ensure the long-term functionality of the systems behind it. We reserve the right to check these data subsequently if we become aware of concrete indications of an illegal use.

Cookies

Some of the internet pages use so-called cookies. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser. They do not cause any damage to your computer and do not contain any viruses. Cookies serve to make our internet site more user-friendly.

The cookies used most often are the so-called “session cookies”. These are automatically deleted following the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your end-user device until you delete them. These cookies make it possible to recognise your browser again on your next visit.

You can set your browser in such a way that you will be informed of the setting of cookies and can only permit cookies in individual cases, can exclude accepting cookies in certain cases, or can generally activate the automatic deletion of cookies as well as on closing the browser. With the deactivation of cookies the functionality of this internet site may be restricted.

Borlabs cookie

The internet site uses Borlabs cookie that sets a technically necessary cookie (borlabs cookie) to store your cookie consent. Borlabs Cookie does not process any personal data. The borlabs cookie stores your consent that you gave when you entered the internet site. If you wish to revoke these consents, simply delete the cookie in your browser. When you enter/reload the internet site, you will be asked again for your cookie consent.

Web Analysis

To optimize our internet site, we use the open source web tracking tool Matomo (formerly “Piwik”) for statistical evaluation of user access, which is operated on our own server. Matomo uses cookies to analyze the use of the internet site.

The information generated by the cookie is used exclusively for statistical purposes and to improve the internet site and server. They are stored exclusively on our own servers; they are not passed on to third parties. Your IP address is made anonymous immediately after processing and before it is stored and cannot be traced back to you.

SSL encoding

To protect the security of data during transmission, we use state-of-the-art encryption methods (e.g. SSL) via HTTPS.

Social Media Profiles

We operate company profiles, so-called fan pages or channels on the following social networks or platforms:

  • Facebook (Facebook Ireland Ltd, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland)
  • LinkedIn (LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland)
  • Youtube (Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA)

We use these profiles to stay in contact with persons from our customer, partner and interested parties who are active in these networks, to communicate with them and to inform them specifically about our activities and our range of products and services.

We use international networks for our communication via social media, therefore data from users of these networks can also be processed outside the European Union. US providers certified under the Privacy Shield undertake to comply with the European Union’s data protection standards (see also Privacy Shield Facebook; Privacy Shield Google).

Yout can find detailed explanations on the data protection of the individual networks under:

Please note that your data may be processed for advertising and market research purposes if you are registered and active as a user on social networks. For example, user profiles can be created that result from the behaviour and interests of users on these platforms. User profiles can be used, for example, to place advertisements that are oriented towards the interests of users. Usually cookies are used for these purposes.

As a user of social networks, you have various options for making settings for the use of your data for advertising purposes. For the respective networks you will find them under:

We like to point out that requests for information or assertion of rights of users can be made most effectively with the network providers. Only the providers themselves can provide comprehensive information or take appropriate measures. Nevertheless, if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
